The contest is for Jewish Middle School students
(Grades 6-8) throughout the US/Canada. It is
designed to promote the importance of Jewish
education and a strong Jewish identity. The
theme for this year was: ISRAEL AT 60,
celebrating the State of Israel's milestone
anniversary.  Topics spanned the breadth of
Israeli Jewish life, history and culture. Entries
were judged based upon research, originality
and quality of writing skills.

In addition to the prizes awarded, a certificate
goes to all entrants.
